Job Summary Tucked away in the heart of San Francisco's Mission District, St. Peter's Catholic School has been

The school community is seeking a qualified Bilingual (English and Spanish) Kindergarten Teacher for
the 2024-2025 school year. The applicant will be required to teach the following subjects in a self contained Dual-Language Immersion (DLI) classroom: Spanish Language Arts, Religion, and Math in
Spanish; English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies in English. This Kindergarten class will be
the inaugural DLI class at St. Peter's School.
Qualifications and job description
Candidates must possess:
•A Bachelors degree
•A valid California Teaching credential* (or a reciprocal credential from another state)
•Bilingual Teaching Certification*
•Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking Spanish
•Classroom management skills
•Teaching experience with children
•Organization to plan age-appropriate lessons in Spanish and English
•Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills with parents, faculty, and students
•Ability to utilize technology in a classroom environment and to integrate technology on a daily
basis
•Commitment to excellence and rigor
* If the candidate does not yet possess a valid California teaching credential or Bilingual Teaching
Certification, (s)he must acquire credential/certification within five years of the date of hire.
Pay range: $54,500-$104,931 Base range (Advanced Education & Certifications not included)
