BMC - South treats 71,000 patients annually and is the only Level 3 Trauma center in Region 5 of Massachusetts. BMC - South Emergency Medicine highlights include a newly constructed, state-of-the-art Emergency Department with a $30 Million Project, 42 Private Rooms including 6 fast-track rooms, 2-bay trauma room, fully integrated EMR, order entry, and patient tracking, rapid triage and evaluation program with exceptional turn round times, excellent patient satisfaction, and well compensated and highly satisfied physician and advanced practitioner staff.
