About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Meat Production Worker who will play an essential role in both meat production and customer service. This position involves working on the counter, directly assisting customers with their meat orders, as well as preparing, cutting, packaging, and labeling meat products for both retail and wholesale customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for high-quality food, strong customer service skills, and a commitment to maintaining food safety and cleanliness.

This is a fast-paced, physically demanding position that requires the ability to work both behind the scenes in production and interact with customers at the counter. If you thrive in a customer-facing role and enjoy hands-on work, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service : Assist customers at the counter by taking meat orders, answering product questions, and providing knowledgeable recommendations.
• Meat Production : Cut, trim, and prepare meat products to company and health standards.
• Packaging and Labeling : Package and label meat items for retail display and sale.
• Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workspaces, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Inventory: Help manage inventory levels and assist with restocking as necessary.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift heavy items and work on your feet for long periods.
• Basic knowledge of meat handling and processing.
• Previous customer service experience or a willingness to engage directly with customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in meat production or food preparation.
• Food safety certification.
• Experience in a retail or grocery store environment.
