Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
  • Customer Service; anticipate customer needs while assisting with general airport information such as airline, car rental and parking information. Provide professionalism, patience, and a people first attitude while greeting customers.
  • Transport customers in wheelchairs from the terminal curbside, to and from the airline ticket counters, departing gates, baggage claim and passenger vehicles.
  • Assist customers with luggage from the terminal curbside, to and from the airline ticket counters, departing gates, baggage claim and passenger vehicles when requested.
  • Bus ticket sales during scheduled ticketing hours including cashier functions, such as cash and credit card handling of ticket sales.
  • Gathering and positioning wheelchairs and baggage carts to designated locations.
  • Provide continuous Exit Lane coverage when assigned, functions include observing, diverting, and promptly reporting unauthorized access through the exit lane.
  • Cheerfully interact in all modes of communication to include face to face, two-way radio, telephone, and email.
  • During winter months, assist customers parked in Handicapped parking with vehicle snow removal.
  • Other duties as assigned and directed.
Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous Customer Service experience and basic computer skills are required.
  • Must possess good English language skills, including speaking, spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
  • Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
  • HS Diploma / GED required.
  • Successfully pass new hire background checks & drug screenings.
  • Successfully pass all Airline and Airport required training.
  • Detailed oriented, organized, punctual, reliable, and flexible. Able to work independently and as a team player.
Physical Requirements
  • Able to regularly sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel.
  • Must be able to use hands and fingers to type, handle bags, boxes, objects, or controls.
  • Pull and push customers in wheelchairs up/down incline up and lift to 50 lbs.
  • Vision abilities include close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
