A global manufacturer in the South Bay area is seeking a Senior Accountant to support financial reporting and SOX compliance activities within one of its core business segments. This is a high-impact role responsible for incentive accrual reviews, revenue recognition cut-offs, factory inventory reconciliations, audit support, and various monthly/quarterly/annual reporting deliverables. You’ll also lead initiatives to streamline reporting and improve accounting processes while collaborating across internal business units and North American subsidiaries. What do you need in this Accounting Manager role?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 6+ years of accounting/finance experience
• Must have public accounting experience
• Experience working in a multinational company is a plus
• Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and SOX compliance
• CPA preferred
• Advanced Excel

What will you do in this Accounting Manager role?

• Prepare workpapers, reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting packages for financial reporting
• Lead or support key areas of close including revenue recognition cut-off procedures and incentive accruals
• Support internal and external SOX audits and compliance activities, including reconciliation reviews
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and ensure accounting accuracy
• Evaluate and optimize reporting workflows for greater accuracy and efficiency
• Perform ad hoc analysis and support strategic finance initiatives
• Partner with senior leadership and contribute to company-wide accounting strategy
