Responsibilities Supplier Quality Management: Oversee and manage the supplier quality assurance process, including audits, performance evaluations, and quality improvement initiatives. Compliance and Standards: Ensure supplier compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies as well as collaborate with suppliers to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement plans to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence. Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies related to supplier quality. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of supplier files including: performance, audits, onboarding, quality metrics, supplier changes, supplier corrective actions (SCARs) and ensuring accuracy and availability for internal and external reviews. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, procurement, incoming inspection and production teams to align supplier capabilities with company needs. Essential requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering 0 to 2 years experience working in an engineering environment, preferably a regulated environment Great written and oral communication skills Experience with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and working with databases Fast learner who’s able to solve problems quickly while continually improving and innovating Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements Ability to travel up to 10% for supplier site visits Preferred qualifications Sheet metal parts design and fabrication process Mold design for plastic parts and material experience Familiarity with PCB circuit boards Benefits Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
