• Location: Gallipolis, OH 45631 – Enjoy a low cost of living, beautiful parks, bird watching, local taverns, cheese creamery, and easy access to Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, and the Bob Evans Farm.\n
• Healthcare Setting: Medical Surgical Unit (HMC Two West)\n
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks\n
• Nursing Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 07:00)\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1570-$1610\n
• Patient Ratio: 1:6\n
• Charting System: Paragon (no prior experience required)\n
• Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend and holidays\n
• Floating: May be required based on unit needs\n
• Scrub Colors: Royal blue, white, or a combination\n
• Parking: Free in any unrestricted space\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical Surgical RN experience\n
• Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license (required at time of submission)\n
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)\n
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Gallipolis, OH\n
• US Citizenship required\n
• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)\n

\n\nMed/Surg RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical unit\n
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress\n
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes\n
• Educate and support patients and their families\n
• Float to other hospital units as needed\n
• Work every other weekend and holidays per schedule\n
