Job Description

With offices in Washington, DC, and Charlotte, NC, Cunningham | Quill Architects is an award-winning architectural practice dedicated to design excellence. Our employees work closely with Principals and staff from concept to completion in an open studio environment. We promote personal and professional development through ongoing education and active participation in professional communities. We are seeking motivated entry-level candidates, with up to 3 years of experience, for the role of Architectural Designer in our Washington DC office. Designers will support a diverse range of projects including multi-family and single-family residential, institutional, adaptive reuse, historic preservation, mixed-use commercial, master planning, and urban design. Qualifications: Degree in Architecture from an NCARB-accredited program Motivation to obtain Professional Registration and LEED certification Self-motivated with strong conceptual design skills and critical thinking Excellent graphic presentation skills Ability to learn building and zoning codes through research and mentorship Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the production and coordination of design documentation across all phases Explore creative solutions through research and design studies Create graphics for design presentations for internal, client, and regulatory review Communicate effectively and professionally with team members, consultants, and clients Engage in networking and professional growth opportunities Please address all materials to Ralph Cunningham, FAIA, and submit your cover letter, resume, and work samples (total size 10MB or less) to cqa@cunninghamquill.com . #J-18808-Ljbffr Cunningham | Quill Architects
